Project Manager

Job Overview
We are a locally-owned general contractor, handling mainly residential remodeling and renovations, with occasional commercial renovations, and new builds.

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead our projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in project management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our business objectives. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, as well as the ability to manage conflicts and drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
• Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Manage relationships with customers, providing regular updates on project status.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Utilize project management tools for tracking progress and documentation.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and accountability.

Skills

• Proficient in developing a schedule, accessible to our entire team, and developing and maintaining work-in-progress reports.
• Strong project leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards common goals.
• Excellent conflict management capabilities to handle disputes effectively.
• Familiarity with program management principles to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Expertise in team management, ensuring all members are aligned with project objectives.
• Knowledge of various project management tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective engagement.

Currently we do not have an office space. All employees work from home, however they are expected to travel to project sites several times a week, or as needed, attend pre-production meetings with customers, and attend a weekly team meeting.

Project managers will be provided with a work van, fuel card, laptop, and cell phone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
