Job Summary
As a Junior Accountant, you’ll assist with day-to-day financial operations including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting. You’ll work under the guidance of senior accounting staff and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Post journal entries and update financial records
- Help prepare monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting files
- Assist with audits and budgeting tasks as needed
- Support the finance team in daily operations and administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
- 1–2 years of accounting experience or internship preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks or similar software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
