Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting processes. This critical role supports the financial health of the practice and ensures compliance with our operational and financial goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly feedback to the bookkeeping service to maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor and report weekly key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Reconcile credit card charges and checks, allocating expenses to appropriate offices.
- Reconcile receivables between the Practice Management Software and bank statements.
- Monitor all charges for authorization, ensuring purchases are with approved vendors.
- Oversee office budgets and ensure adherence to ordering limits.
- Manage cash flow by ensuring timely payments to major bills and vendors from appropriate accounts.
- Monitor the health and viability of all checking accounts in real time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management.
- Experience in dental or orthodontic practices preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and leadership.
