Job Summary
The Weekend Warrior - Ministry to Youth is a vital role focused on providing support, mentorship, and guidance to young individuals within our community. Duties
- Engage with youth through organized activities and programs that promote personal development and emotional well-being.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to young individuals, helping them navigate challenges and build confidence.
- Plan and execute events that encourage participation and foster a sense of community among youth.
- Communicate effectively with youth to educate them on important life skills, coping mechanisms, and available resources.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop programs that address the needs of youth in areas such as bereavement support and hospice care.
- Participate in fundraising efforts to support youth programs and initiatives.
- Utilize leadership skills to inspire and motivate youth participants during events and activities.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or youth in a mentoring or educational capacity is preferred.
- Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable.
- Skills in event planning and execution are beneficial for organizing engaging activities.

- Experience or knowledge in hospice care or bereavement support is a plus.
