Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our administrative processes. Deal with venders and pay bills, help with payroll and HR.
Duties
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee financial reporting processes, including the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Perform journal entries and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Utilize financial software such as Quicken for tracking expenses and managing budgets.
- Collaborate with accounting staff to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Train and supervise administrative staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Implement office procedures that enhance productivity and maintain compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role within a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial report writing.
- Proficiency in financial software applications; experience with Quicken is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
