Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Doctoral (BCBA-D). This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to enhance the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques.
Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to interventions.
- Assist clients in developing daily living skills, social skills, and communication abilities.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to assess client needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Provide support in research data collection as needed for program evaluation and improvement.
- Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills in behavioral therapy and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;
- Current and active RBT certification;
- Current and active BLS certification;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook);
- Will be required to pass background check and fingerprinting;
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and their application in a clinical environment is required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with team members and families.
