Job role : Payments Risk 'Pending Review' Agent
Location : Madison, WI (Onsite)

Job Description :
The Payments Risk Review Agent is crucial in a BPO setting, responsible for
meticulously reviewing transactions that have been authorized but not captured or
fulfilled yet and have triggered high risk scores on our platform. The agent is expected
to strictly adhere to a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that outlines
steps to verify if pending transactions(Both PayIn and PayOut) should be canceled due
to a high probability of fraud, and auth reversed to close the transaction attempt. This
role requires analytical acuity, attention to detail, and a sound understanding of
transaction processes and risk factors associated with payment systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Review High-Risk Transactions :
- Rigorously assess pending transactions(Authorized but not yet
captured / shipped) for high-risk scores, suspicious behavior, or compliance.
Decision Making :
reverse auths based on risk assessments and SOP guidelines.
Maintain Records :
assessed risk, decision made, and any pertinent communications.
Customer and Client Communication :
and addressing any queries or concerns related to transaction reviews.
Compliance and Regulation Adherence :
regulations, and company policies, mitigating potential legal and financial risks.
Continuous Improvement :
enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the transaction review process.
Qualifications :
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in finance,
business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience : At least one year of experience in payment risk review or a similar
role; experience in a BPO setting is advantageous.
