What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at Stram Center for Integrative Medicine?
We are a busy integrative medical practice seeking an experienced full time RN to work in our beautiful state of the art office in Delmar NY. We treat chronically ill patients as well as those seeking wellness and preventative approaches to health. Work with medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, physicians' associates, dieticians, acupuncturists and massage therapists.
Job duties include, but not limited to:
Implementing providers' orders, administering intravenous and IM medications, initiating IV's, accessing PICC lines/ports, performing treatments and monitoring patients during IV therapy.
Scheduling and documenting treatment
Assesses and evaluating patient needs
Case Management: addressing patient inquiries via phone and portal messaging
Collaborating with a team of nurses and medical providers to create plan of care for patients.
Ongoing weekly education: clinical rounds to review patient care
Perform administrative nursing duties such as completing medical forms, prior authorizations, etc.
Maintaining a safe environment by following safety rules and regulations.
Operating Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chambers
Phlebotomy
Training will be provided
Scheduling:
Tuesday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. 9 Hour shift, no weekends or Holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
