Job Summary
The Bistro at Courtyard is a chic, fast-casual concept restaurant offering an eclectic menu including a variety of refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down fare including cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Our Bistro Team Members master a wide variety of food & beverage functions, from serving coffee and other beverages (including alcohol), to preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. The attendant is a friendly person who welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards. They also anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. In addition, he or she maintains a professional appearance, is always in uniform, and speaks with others using clear and professional language.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Morning Bistro Attendant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Processes all orders and collect payment from customers
· Provide assistance in food & beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests.
· Perform general cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage prep areas, count the bank at end of shifts, and follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
· Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, and complete safety training and certifications.
· Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information and protects company assets.
· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.
· Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
· Various other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
· Food preparation and food sanitation experience required
· Strong customer service skills required
