Machine Operator/Assembler

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in a factory or warehouse environment. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery, ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is essential in meeting production goals while adhering to safety standards and quality control measures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Assemble components using hand tools and power tools, following detailed specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines to prevent downtime and ensure safety.
• Fabricate parts as needed, adhering to quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or similar environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating machinery, hand tools, and power tools is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus, with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience working on an assembly line is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A valid forklift certification is desirable but can be obtained after hiring if necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.67 - $16.40 per hour
