Strata-G is seeking an experienced Waste Management Specialist with the following:
Summary:
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry
- 3 years of experience in DOE waste management, environmental compliance, or waste transportation
- Proven experience and demonstrated proficiency in wastewater treatment and liquid waste management
- Experience in radioactive and hazardous waste characterization, packaging, storage, and disposition in accordance with RCRA, TSCA, DOE Order 435.1, and DOT regulations
- Experience communicating and coordinating with waste generator organizations
- Preferred Qualifications
- Y-12 site experience
- Active DOE Q clearance
