Strata G is seeking to fill the position of Senior or Principal Systems Engineer in the Huntsville area. The position requires understanding and application of systems engineering tools with the ability to perform investigations using deductive reasoning in the analysis of technical systems. Responsibilities will include development of project system engineering plans and system requirements management (analysis, derivation, allocation, tracing, and verification) to support the successful completion of design, integration, and test for a wide range of projects associated with : military rotor, fixed wing, and unmanned aircraft; and ground vehicle-based systems. Candidate must be able to function in a dynamic and versatile team and will work without any appreciable direction or supervision while exercising their project support duties. Position will require the ability to interact effectively with team members, customers, support personnel and senior management on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Qualifications Required :
- Knowledge of systems design and integration and relationship to other engineering disciplines.
- Capability to research, investigate, and perform systems analysis
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Must currently have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to work independently, flexible, demonstrates initiative
- Good communicator across multiple mediums
