The Administrative Assistant, Development is a driven, organized, and communicative individual that thrives in a fast-moving environment. Administrative and operational support activities are subject to change as directed by the Senior Director, Land and Permitting.
Essential Job Functions:
· Provide responsible and efficient administrative support to the land and permitting teams, developers, and/or executives as needed.
· Assist with day-to-day development operations and provide administrative support/duties
· Organize and prioritize large volumes of information
· Act as a liaison with other departments, including executives such as the CEO, President, and Vice Presidents
· Responsible for high-level reporting
· Establish, develop, maintain and update records/filing system, and retrieve information as necessary
· Assist/provide backup support to other office support employees as needed
· Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
· Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding project information, contract details, and politically sensitive matters.
· Schedule permitting, assist with administrative processes such as meeting preparation, events planning, purchasing, travel arrangements, etc.
· All other duties and related tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Experience in the renewable energy development space is a plus
· Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, and to follow through on assignments and meet deadlines
· Ability to plan, prioritize and organize workloads and achieve goals
· High energy level with ability to work in fast paced, ambiguous environment
· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
· Experience utilizing office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, etc.
· Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a strong attention to detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong technical capacity
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Willingness to fill in for others on a variety of tasks, sometimes on short notice.
