The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient use of equipment on the construction job site while following standard operating procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct equipment inspections on all assigned equipment.
- Perform minor repairs and / or maintenance as needed to assigned equipment.
- Operate various equipment in the support of Solar Site Operations varying from telehandler, lull, outdoor forklift, backhoe, skid steer, trencher, track hoe, loader, dozer, mini excavator and other like equipment.
- Review project plans and drawings and ensure that the project is built according to design.
- Experience with basic tools, and be mechanically inclined.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Maintain equipment and tools.
- Lead and exemplify safe working practices.
Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :
Physical Requirements / Work Environment :
The work is performed in the field and requires extended overnight stays. Will be required to perform physical labor; at times, carry up to 50 lbs and assist others in carrying objects greater than 50 lbs. The position requires the unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper / lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception.
