We are hiring for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in the company’s accounting operations, month end close accounting operations including, A/R, A/P, reporting and sales support. Specific duties include journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, intercompany accounting, cash management and supporting internal and external financial audit requests.
Core Responsibilities:
- Month end close process, performing monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis, resolving discrepancies, analyzing, and recording accruals, financial statement analysis.
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables functions working closely with a bookkeeper.
- Support and oversee global region’s reconciliations.
- Monthly and quarterly financial reporting and financial analysis.
- Support Internal/External Financial Audit requests
- Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, processes and internal controls to support the company’s growth and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience is required.
- Hands on experience with all aspects of the month end close, perform journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations.
- Hands on experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables functions working closely with a bookkeeper.
- NetSuite experience preferred and experience in the technology/ manufacturing sector a plus.
- Experience with intercompany reconciliations and Revenue recognition (SaaS, ASC606, hardware sales).
- Technical and operational knowledge of databases is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn new content, and skills.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS suite of programs, especially Excel. Provide exceptional client service to internal and external stakeholders (when needed).
