STRATACACHE is currently looking for a Senior Maintenance & Facilities Technician. This position will assist with all aspects of site maintenance, general work activities, and repairs of the physical plant buildings and external grounds.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair and upkeep of site buildings. Examples of tasks: drywall repair, painting, doors and closures repairs, minor plumbing repairs, other building related fixtures and component repairs.
- Maintain site external grounds and parking lots. Examples of tasks: mowing, weeding, spreading bark mulch, trimming trees, raking, sweeping/power blower parking lots, walkways/entry ways, power washing exterior surfaces.
- Assist with HVAC duties. Examples of tasks: equipment logs and readings, routine PM maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, performing minor repairs
- Maintain operation and cleanliness of all work areas, tools and equipment
- Performs other duties as requested. Willing and able to adapt to changing demands of the facilities maintenance department and fulfill any job that is required.
Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 8 years previous facilities maintenance experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to be covered under the company’s auto insurance policy is required.
- First Aid experience is desired.
- Must be a self-starter, have a willingness to learn, and ability to work alone unsupervised
- General carpentry and minor plumbing repair knowledge, good mechanical aptitude traits
- Must follow and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines for work environments and assigned tasks
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work all shifts and overtime if assigned or required
