Job Summary: Stratagem Solutions, Incorporated is in search of applicants who are interested in satisfying a requirement to support an office with Army PEO Aviation as a General Engineer.
Responsibilities and Duties, Position requirements:
- Provide engineering support in the development, implementation, and execution of the MQ-1C aircraft across the acquisition life cycle to include stakeholder needs assessment, specification development, risk management, technology assessment and integration, and participate in Technical Reviews.
- Provide engineering support for requirements traceability throughout the design, production, verification validation, and fielding of the MQ-1C -25 aircraft.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and participate in reviews to provide baseline management and control for the design.
- Prepare, coordinate, and evaluate draft Technical Service Memorandums (TSMs) Scopes of Work (SOW), and/or work tasks to ensure all technical requirements are included and appropriate.
- Serve on multiple IPTs and working groups, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders providing systems engineering expertise and support. Strong interpersonal communication skills are required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with contract and project office personnel and inform program leadership on ongoing activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Understanding of Army software practices and impacts as they apply to system requirements documentation and integration onto hardware.
- Ability to allocate software requirements and develop hardware requirements for inclusion in statement of work and/or technical instructions.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills are required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with contract and project office personnel and inform program leadership on ongoing activities.
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior Army Aviation experience.
- Army Project Office experience.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Education and Experience – BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related scientific discipline field plus five years concentrated in functional responsibility area of the position to be filled.
Travel: May require travel up to 10%.
Security: U.S Citizenship and Existing Active SECRET Security Clearance required. Applicants selected will be subject to security investigations and must meet the minimum requirements for access to classified information.
Testing: Candidates may be subject to a written test as part of the candidate interview and selection process to demonstrate written communication skills and/or the ability to deal with potentially challenging notional situations which may arise while supporting a Product Office.
