As a Name Search Research Analyst, you will work on the client site with a dynamic team supporting the FBI's National Name Check Program (NNCP), providing Name Search services to assist the NNCP Section in processing requests received from Federal agencies. This role requires research of the subject’s identifiers and analysis of case information that are sent back to the requesting agency. Name Check products are utilized by Federal agencies prior to bestowing a privilege such as employment, immigration benefit, or access to a secured facility. Ultimately you will support the needs of federal agencies who use the FBI name check information to protect the United States (U.S.) from foreign and domestic threats to national security.

Responsibilities
- Attend Name Searching Training. Review all information on the candidate records and manuals, as well as the information contained within the applicable NNCP automated databases, including the Next Generation Name Check Program.
- Conduct additional searches when required per the Name Searching SOP.
- Perform all applicable Name Search procedures specified in the Name Searching SOP and in any other applicable Name Check SOP that will provide accurate and pertinent information.
- Complete the Name Search WI based on the case priority order.
- Meet production and quality performance metrics.
- Complete corrections and respond to Quality Assurance discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Escalate questions regarding Name Searching process for each WI or SOP guidance to the NNCP Name Search Program Manager.
- Submit Name Search SOP change request for process improvement via the NNCP SharePoint site.
- Conduct various administrative tasks as required.
- Bachelor's Degree, or three (3) or more years of experience applying knowledge of administrative principles, practices, and techniques.
- Proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google Chrome; navigate multiple browser windows, and copy/paste to and from different applications.
- Prior NNCP experience.
