Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC) in Pensacola, FL, has an immediate need for a Mid-level ESS Systems Administrator with demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Linux server operating systems. The focus of this job is to assist the ESS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with ongoing STIG remediation and system administration. Primary responsibilities include:
Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC) in Pensacola, FL, has an immediate need for a Mid-level ESS Systems Administrator with demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Linux server operating systems. The focus of this job is to assist the ESS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with ongoing STIG remediation and system administration. Primary responsibilities include:
- Perform STIG vulnerability checks on Window/Linux servers
- Review and update STIG requirements and checklists
- Document identified vulnerabilities per STIG requirements
- Provide windows and linux system/software support for ESS SME’s
- Supporting Tentable and Mcafee Software is highly desired but not required
- Must possess current IAT II certification, including an appropriate Computing Environment certification, in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M to include Linux OS certification
- Must have 5 or more years’ experience supporting some/all of the following: Windows Server administration, Linux server administration, Endpoint Security Support, Host-Based Security System, and end-user agent configuration and operations
- Must have Tier 2 helpdesk support experience
