Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), has an immediate need for a Training Analyst to support a new mobile training initiative to teach MSC’s shipboard network administrators the skills necessary to perform day-to-day duties. Primary responsibilities include:
- Use various sources, such as help desk incidents, CASREPs, mariner interviews, and StratasCorp technical SME feedback, to identify mobile training target areas
- Assist with creation and implementation of a mobile training methodology to be used by trainers onboard MSC ships
- Reconcile mobile training target areas with existing classroom, virtual, and vendor-supplied training, assessing existing training for utility in a mobile training environment and identifying curriculum to be generated
- Review classroom and mobile training for effectiveness by creating and assessing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing feedback to instructors and curriculum developers
- Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M, and be able to get appropriate Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire
- Must have 3 years or more of progressive experience as a technical trainer, training analyst, or data analyst
- Must travel to MSC ships, some of which are in shipyard environments and require PPE
