Job Description
Our team, in Pensacola, FL has an immediate need for an Enterprise Network Engineer / Networks Lead at our Network Operation Center (NOC) with demonstrated experience supporting routing, switching, and firewall devices for an enterprise-level network. Primary responsibilities include :
- Manage Cisco ASA firewalls, Identity Services Engine (ISE), core and edge switches, routers
- Support the NOC network and shipboard networks to ensure network services are provided in an uninterrupted fashion, troubleshooting and analyzing failures using available tools and an expert knowledge of the OSI model
- Compile and provide reports to government leadership to diagnose and analyze issues with the network services provided by the NOC
- Analyze, plan, implement, and document security measures that meet DISA security requirements (STIGs) to maintain Information Assurance (IA) compliance for the enterprise
- Schedule and conduct system upgrades and installations for new network equipment
- Serve as lead for the Networks team by establishing and / or approving day-to-day tasking that aligns with government and StratasCorp leadership priorities, tracking completion of assigned tasks, and prioritizing conflicting demands
- Report status of projects worked by the Networks team to Site Lead on an ongoing basis, ensuring data is comprehensive and accurate
- Assist with personnel management of the Networks team by reviewing timesheets, tracking completion of mandatory trainings / clearance reinvestigation submissions / HR requirements, mentoring team members, and providing recommendations and inputs to disciplinary actions if needed
