What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solution Architect position at StratasCorp?
Individual will serve as the Solution Architect as part of StratasCorp's capture and proposal process, creating proposal artifacts, collaborate with the team to develop compelling solutions that meet customer needs. Primary responsibilities include:
* Support customer engagement efforts to understand requirements, pain points, identify and vet technical solutions, and shape the acquisition.
* Coordinate/develop technical white papers and develop RFI/Sources Sought opportunities.
* Analyze RFP requirements, instructions, evaluation criteria and support qualification of opportunities.
* Lead the development of the technical, management, and transition proposal efforts.
* Work with Capture/Proposal Manager and Pricing Lead to develop solutions iteratively and help coordinate color reviews of proposal artifacts.
* Develop technical solutions including staffing Level of Effort (LOE), Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and Bill of Materials (BOMs), cost volume narratives, in coordination with Pricing Lead.
* Identify labor categories (LCATs) and develop LCAT descriptions for technical and management positions.
* Contribute to teaming strategies including identifying capability gaps and vetting potential partners
* Research current and emerging technologies and process methodologies.
* 7-10 years in solution development for federal proposals.
* 2 years experience supporting the federal procurement process-developing RFI responses, reading RFPs, leading and/or contributing to proposal volumes.
* Excellent written communications skills and the ability to develop compelling proposal materials and presentations
*Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
