Auditor

Position Summary:

The primary role of the Auditor is to work closely with all departments within the organization to ensure internal policies, procedures, and processes meet or exceed regulatory rules and regulations. 

Responsibilities:

 Ensure adherence to state/accreditation rules and regulations in all company practices.
 Create and implement an internal audit policy.
 Conduct regular/routine audits (desktop and on-site).
 Prepare Audit Reports and ensure responses are submitted timely and address any identified areas of weakness.
 Conduct follow up audits to ensure applicable Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) have been completed/implemented, proactively identify compliance risks, and escalate compliance gaps.
 Monitor and maintain an effective process for reviewing, approving, and/or auditing consumer, marketing, and/or institutional materials or forms (including company websites & social media platforms).
 Conduct weekly audit for graduates employed in field (minimum 50%) to ensure applicable/correct documentation on file and consistent with SMS, unavailable for graduation (100%), and employment or graduation waivers (100%).
 Maintain collaborative working relationships with personnel at all levels throughout the organization to ensure open and honest communication.
 Create and maintain the quarterly newsletter “Compliance Corner” to address common mistakes and share answers to FAQs.
 Coordinate monthly “Coffee with Compliance” meeting to answer compliance-related questions.
 Identify, support, and train “Compliance Champions” at each location.
 Complete on-going training as required.
 Other duties and projects as assigned

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS:
 Approximately 50%
 Internal On-Site Audits- All Campuses
 External On-Site Regulatory Audit/Visit & Preparation- All Campuses

Required Knowledge, Education and Experience:

 Minimum 3 years of compliance experience in higher education at an accredited proprietary post-secondary
education, preferably accredited by ACCSC;
 Associate’s degree and/or 5 years relevant experience preferred; or
 Combination of relevant education and experience
