JOB TITLE : Analyst (Advanced) – Executive Officer (XO)
REQUISITION # : AL-1348-25-PPA : TH
CLEARANCE : Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
LOCATION : Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal)
REPORTS TO : SABG Strategic Planning Lead
FLSA STATUS : Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY : SABG is Hiring an Analyst (Advanced) – Executive Officer (XO) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, Alabama. Advanced Analysts will support Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Executives and Senior Leaders with day-to-day mission planning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Executive Officer in the THAAD Program Office (TH). Provide day-to-day Executive support and strategic planning.
- Capable of delivering a high level of customer support and integration, handling several complex tasks simultaneously.
- Possess an elevated understanding and experience in Ballistic Missile Defense Systems in order to develop and refine PowerPoint presentations, documents and Talking Points about THAAD.
- Review staff packages to prepare them for approval, which includes editing final products for historic relevance and current considerations.
- Create and edit the Weekly Report for a large, complex organization, to be used by the MDA Director and senior staff.
- Ensure all staff actions required are completed accurately and all suspense’s met.
- Draft and review all correspondence requiring the Director’s signature.
- Draft, coordinate, and submit weekly Staff Call Charts, End-of-Week Reports and weekly SITREP to the front office.
- Manage and schedule the Project Manager’s daily calendar.
SUPERVISION : This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Capable of providing expertise in Strategic Planning, Programmatic and Communication techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems. Mid-level working knowledge, skills and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. CLEARANCE : Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and / or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
