What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Scientist/Engineer (Cyber) position at Strategic Analysis?
Strategic Analysis, Inc. is looking for a candidate to provide on-site support to the ACO Advanced Resilience portfolio in support of Matt Wilding. Successful candidates will lead activities in project management, technical and programmatic risk analysis, and program-funded test coordination. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating meetings, assessing performer technical progress, projecting performer outcomes, ensuring that project management best practices are followed by performers, and supporting DARPA-funded independent verification and validation (IV&V) testing with performers and partners. The ideal candidate possesses technical expertise and experience with red teaming, vulnerability research, and / or reverse engineering of network edge devices, commercial cybersecurity apparatuses, and other enterprise network boundary devices. Exemplary candidates have demonstrated an ability to learn new subjects and gain rapid insights into current and next-generation cyber research and prototyping, preferably with hands-on leadership of research programs at the performer level.
Requirements :
- Experience with Red Teaming, Vulnerability Research, or Reverse Engineering
- Experience formally documenting requirements and providing supporting evidence
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (i.e. electrical, computer, or network), computer science, or related field
- Ability to work with little oversight to take abstract problems, provide detailed analysis, and generate recommendations, both individually and as part of a team managing a DARPA research and development program
