Description:
We are looking for a Compliance Consultant with 3 or more years of experience in the mortgage industry. We have a strong focus in the independent broker space, so any experience with this group would be great, but not required! See below for desired skills and job duties.
Job Duties:
- Perform introduction/welcome calls for new clients.
- Communicate with clients in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Answer client questions thoroughly and in a timely manner.
- Assist clients with licensing applications/NMLS needs.
- Review client’s company website and social media accounts for state/federal advertising requirements.
- Perform advertising reviews on print ads, social media posts, videos, etc.
- Assist clients with pipeline management (review of applications, how to adverse/disposition applications, etc.).
- Complete Mortgage Call Reports and annual or quarterly Financial Condition Report.
- Perform file reviews for disclosure and record retention requirements.
Skills:
- 3 years of mortgage compliance experience;
- Experience with Mortgage Compliance Advertising and/or Mortgage Licensing process;
- College Degree or related experience
- Experience with Mortgage Brokers preferred
- Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written);
- Ability to multi-task;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to maintain productivity in a remote work setting; and
- Basic Computer and Home Office Maintenance abilities.
