Job Title: QA Lead - Large-Scale Project Delivery
A seasoned Quality Assurance Lead who brings deep expertise in testing complex systems and thrives in leading QA strategy across large-scale, cross-functional projects. This individual will drive quality initiatives across agile teams, foster best practices in test engineering, and play a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality software delivery.
The ideal candidate is an influential team leader, capable of mentoring QA engineers, collaborating across departments, and providing technical and strategic guidance on automation, performance, and test process optimization. A background in warehouse or transportation management systems is highly preferred.
Required Skills & Experience
Mixed between a lead and an SDET, need someone with an executive presents, who can communicate well to leadership, clear concise and comfortable presenting to high level execs. Large 3rd party systems, need to understand the complexities. Warehouse management, transportation and yard management systems -Manhattan active supply chain management in general around warehouse and transportation
Top 3 skills: Resource should have cross-functional QA expertise - automated frontend testing, test plan lifecycle, test data management, etc. MAWM experience.
Soft Skills Needed: communication, working with 3rd parties and vendors/offshore, collaboration, experience in large enterprise systems as well.
Project person will be supporting: working on the warehouse management system project. This Lead QE will need to ensure Manhattan Project is successful
Team details: mostly overseeing a team of contractors. Not a direct report role but will have supervision

Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 2 years in a QA Lead or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven experience leading QA on large-scale, enterprise-level software implementations.
- Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery, continuous integration, and DevOps practices.
- Extensive experience in Warehouse and/or Transportation Management Systems (Manhattan Active WM experience is a plus).
- Hands-on experience in test automation, including:
- Writing Selenium-based test scripts in JavaScript or Java (WebDriver, WebDriverIO, Appium, etc.)
- Using test runners like JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine.
- Working with Selenium Grid, modular test frameworks, and reusable components.
- Proficient with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity) and version control systems.
- Comfortable using Jira and QMetry for test and defect management.
- Expertise in backend validation using SQL and test data management practices.
- Strong understanding of performance and load testing principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in delegating tasks, mentoring peers, and managing cross-team dependencies.
- Adept at balancing strategic oversight with hands-on support.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving QA excellence in evolving project environments.
- Lead end-to-end QA efforts for enterprise-level projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery across multiple releases and environments.
- Develop and execute strategic QA plans aligned to project goals and business outcomes.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to define test strategy, scope, and success criteria.
- Monitor the performance and output of vendor QA teams; provide timely, constructive feedback to ensure adherence to project standards and expectations.
- Act as the primary QA point of contact for vendor alignment and issue resolution.
- Drive the implementation of automated testing frameworks and continuous testing pipelines.
- Coordinate and manage functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing cycles.
- Coach and mentor QA team members, promoting professional development and consistent application of best practices.
- Lead defect triage, root cause analysis sessions, and quality metrics reporting.
- Continuously improve QA processes and tooling across teams.
- Contribute to test data strategy and environment coordination across teams.
- Provide testing estimations and resource planning to support project timelines and priorities.
