The VP, Product Research & Development will be responsible for spearheading where to play and how to win by exploring new market trends for future product development leading a team of researchers and analysts to identify emerging technologies, analyze market dynamics, and working with product development teams for translating insights into actionable product strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Customer Segmentation - define where to play and how to win to inform the product development plans from concept to launch.
- Conduct Market Research - analyze the competitive landscape, identify market opportunities, and stay informed about industry trends.
- Plan and Conduct User Research Studies - design and execute various research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and A / B testing.
- Analyze and Synthesizing Research Data - analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify key insights and trends.
- Communicating Research Findings - present research findings in a clear and compelling way to stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Travel as business needs arise.
