A prominent technical consulting firm in Annapolis, MD is seeking a skilled Network Engineer II/III to provide advanced technical support, implement scalable IT systems, and ensure seamless network operations for their clients. This role involves tackling complex network challenges, serving as a trusted technical advisor, and driving IT project success.
This is an onsite role, with some local travel required within an hour of Annapolis.
Responsibilities:
- Advanced troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Onsite and remote resolution of complex network issues.
- Serving as a primary technical advisor to clients, offering tailored solutions.
- Conducting regular system audits and performance checks.
Requirements:
- College diploma or university degree in a related field and 2 years equivalent work experience OR 3 years of hands-on network engineering experience.
- Relevant certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, etc.) are desirable.
- Experience in MSP or consulting environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Experience with Microsoft 365/Azure, VMware, and remote monitoring tools.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel to local client sites.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
