What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Manager position at Strategic Employment Partners (SEP)?
A mid-sized tax firm in Worcester, MA is looking to add a Tax Manager to the team. They specialize in mid-sized corporations and high-net-worth individuals. This hire will be brought on as a Tax Manager but will be set on the path for Partner in the near future. They are a team-oriented company that fosters a culture of collaboration and communication. In this position, you will be reporting directly to the 4 partners and working closely with the managing partner. You will be responsible for overseeing the tax statements of 4-5 individuals and making sure they are prepared for the partners signature, as well as preparing your own for their signature.

- 5 of related experience of taxation at a public accounting firm
- Experience preparing and reviewing federal, state, or corporate tax returns
- Ability to be in the office for a minimum of 3 days a week
- If you don’t have a CPA you must have an EA
- CPA
- Experience using CCH and/or Profax
- Real-estate tax experience
- Finical statement preparation
