Responsibilities :
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports, specifically related to home building projects and related costs.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as construction and sales, to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency related to project costing, revenue recognition, and job costing.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports, including project-specific financial analysis.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making, including project profitability analysis.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
