About the Role :
The Audit Manager will play a key role in our audit practice, overseeing and executing audit engagements. This includes reviewing and preparing audit documentation, managing a small team of two, and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of audits and financial statements. This position offers the flexibility of being fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in Rhode Island.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, execute, and manage audit engagements.
- Review audit workpapers and financial statements prepared by team members.
- Supervise and mentor a team of two audit staff members.
- Identify and address audit risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Manage project budgets and timelines.
