Job Overview
The Vice President of Investments works closely with the Advisors and Principals by providing comprehensive investment portfolio analysis, and recommends investment strategies, allocations, and direction for our clients. The VP of Investments will lead and work collaboratively with our team of investment professionals to execute the requests and inquiries that our clients have in order to provide the highest level of service and help our clients meet their investment objectives.
Duties
- Provide ongoing portfolio analysis and management;
- Recommend custom portfolios and investment strategies to achieve client goals;
- Create written proposals and rationales;
- Responsive client communication regarding investment strategy and performance;
- Awareness of market trends and the effect on portfolios;
- Work closely with investment team of manage existing portfolios;
- Mentor and develop the investment team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence; and,
- Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting investments.
Skills
- Experience and depth of knowledge with portfolio analysis.
- Experience and depth of knowledge with diversified investment strategies.
- CFA designation highly desired.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial analysis to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Highly proficient with investment techology tools, and Excel.
- Proven ability to understand client objectives and risk tolerance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related major.
- Excellent communication skills in dealing with clients and team members.
- Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and demeanor.
- Excellent written communication skills.
