Our Assurance Staff Accountants engage in the entire Assurance process, from intake meetings to closing Assurance discussions. They perform accounting processes on a variety of engagements, such as Assurance reviews and compilations of financial statements. Our Assurance Staff Accountants gain valuable experience in a variety of industry verticals and are the foundation for any successful Assurance.
As the Audit Staff Accountant , you will use your intellectual acuity and judgement to critically evaluate financial information that the client has provided. You will apply your accounting and Assurance knowledge in testing GL balances. You will prepare workpapers and effectively communicate with the engagement team and clients building personal and firm credibility.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and / or proof financial statements
- Prepare work paper documentation according to the Firm’s standards
- Perform client inventory observations when applicable
- Become familiar with :
- The Firm’s policies and procedures
- Firm computer hardware and software
- The service the Firm provides
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
- Ability to work full-time (plus overtime) as required
