Locations: Atlanta, GA
An Executive Assistant performs multiple tasks, with a strong focus on organizational duties. Executive Assistant handles processing travel, processing training orders and other office-related tasks supervisor by other management. The position may also require separating the mail, completing forms for order office supplies and other orders that might be needed. The position will also consist of preparing conference rooms, and greeting clients as needed. This position required regularly communicate with other staff to help procure needed items This position will have guidance to perform most of their duties.
These tasks include:
· Carries out recurring office procedures independently
· Refers calls and visitors to appropriate staff
· Arranges meeting rooms and schedules meeting
· Maintains office files. x schedules tentative appointments.
· Makes arrangements for conferences and meetings and assembles established background materials, as directed.
· Submits requests into a variety of CDC based systems, such as ICE (procurement requests and invoices), Concur (travel), TAS NET (time and attendance), etc.
· Refers non-routine requests to appropriate CDC managers or staff.
· Screen Mail
· Requisitions supplies, printing, maintenance, or other services.
· Develops, prepares and delivers communications to the division
In addition to clerical duties (receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, faxing, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements), the support services shall include providing advanced administrative support to executive staff, also referred to as senior managers.
Minimum Qualifications
· Prior experience as an Executive Assistant for the federal government required
· Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management
· Strong knowledge of government travel system a must
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Advance Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills.
· Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties
· Strong organizational, program management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking skills
· Exceptional interpersonal skills
· Friendly and professional demeanor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
