What are the responsibilities and job description for the Functional Analyst - NAVY position at Strategic Insight, Ltd.?
Mandatory Requirement: Applicants must have an active Interim Secret DoD clearance at a minimum, with final Secret preferred.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Detail-oriented, able to handle multiple ongoing actions at once, support Action Officers in reviewing documents, preparing spreadsheets, and preparing briefs,
- Excel in critical thinking, and analysis and are proactive at all times,
- Quick study and work to understand the office, seek out ways to assist, and not simply wait to be assigned tasks, and
- Telework may be permitted on a situational basis.
Success for working in this position requires:
- Strong writing skills/ability for the development of talking points,
- Able to listen to technical information such as technology, supply chain, and operational security information, be able to synthesize that information, and then be able to write about it for a newsletter,
- Self-starter who knows what action items are coming out of meetings, shows initiative, and reminds the government client of open action items,
- Strong understanding and compiling skills with metrics,
- Attend meetings and provide minutes for government approval,
- Experience with Microsoft Office graphics, office automation tools (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and producing documents without errors,
- Possess experience and knowledge in proofreading and editing highly technical documents that were created by others to ensure proper format, grammar, and style,
- Must possess excellent communication, customer service, and telephone skills and work with others at all levels, as a team member,
- Strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills,
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including, proofreading, grammar, and analytical skills, and
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
- Budget review, DMAGS support, and the POM cycle experience required.
