Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally within investment management, asset management, financial services, or professional services environments
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with digital platforms, content management systems (CMS), and marketing automation tools
- Demonstrated interest in capital markets and investment strategy
Client Development
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify institutional prospects and analyze competitive positioning.
- Assist in developing outreach strategies and tailoring value propositions to prospective clients.
- Support initial engagement efforts through coordinated email and telephone campaigns.
- Draft, refine, and finalize customized presentation materials and client-facing content.
- Participate in internal strategy discussions to align approach, prioritization, and execution.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns aligned with firm objectives.
- Develop and maintain digital content across corporate websites (strategicgroup.com and OCIO.org).
- Manage relationships with external partners and industry organizations to coordinate speaking opportunities and co-branded initiatives.
- Create social media and email marketing content, ensuring integration with CRM systems and campaign analytics.
- Support the execution of firm-hosted events, including conferences, webinars, and roundtables.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality marketing materials and ensure consistency with the firm’s brand identity.
- Update and maintain CRM records (Salesforce), ensuring accuracy and usability for reporting.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables using tools such as Smartsheet or equivalent platforms.
- Maintain an organized repository of marketing collateral and approved content (via SharePoint or similar).
- Monitor key performance indicators and generate regular reports to assess campaign and engagement effectiveness.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to interpret data, identify market trends, and synthesize insights to support client engagement strategies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage a professional audience.
- Technical Proficiency: CRM systems (Salesforce), Excel, and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with data analysis software (Python/R) is a plus.
- Creative & Digital Marketing: Understanding of digital platforms, CMS, and marketing automation tools.
- Project Management: Experience managing timelines and deliverables across multiple initiatives. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
