We are seeking a diligent and skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join our team in the Elgin, IL area.
What will you be responsible for as a Mechanical Assembler on a daily basis?
- Interpret assembly and elevation drawings-.
- Assemble various sub-assemblies for use in the final assembly.
- Experience with power tools (Wrench, screwdriver, pliers, calipers, micrometers).
- Team player, able to work within a team environment.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional relationship with peers, management and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Follow control procedures.
Who qualifies for the Mechanical Assembler roles?
- Must have knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints drawing.
- Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals and read tape measure.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements.
What hours will the Mechanical Assembler work?
- 1st shift
- The hours are Mon – Fri 7 am-3:30 pm.
- Must be able to work OT.
How much will you earn as a Mechanical Assembler?
- Starting pay $20/hr .
