Job Title : Onsite IT Support Specialist (JD Edwards Focus)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Onsite IT Support Specialist with expertise in JD Edwards (JDE) and a strong foundation in IT infrastructure . This position involves 80% ERP support and 20% infrastructure tasks , ensuring smooth ERP operations, assisting end-users, and maintaining IT reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

ERP Support (80%)

Provide daily technical support for JD Edwards, including troubleshooting, configuration management, and user assistance.
Work closely with business users to gather requirements, design solutions , and implement system enhancements.
Monitor and optimize ERP performance for efficiency and reliability.
Assist with JDE-related integrations, interfaces, and reports .
Develop training materials and documentation to support end-user adoption.
Collaborate with external consultants or vendors for advanced JDE projects.

IT Infrastructure Support (20%)

Assist with user access management, hardware troubleshooting, and software installations .

Diagnose and resolve network, printer, and general IT issues .

Support infrastructure upgrades, installations, and maintenance .

Manage IT asset tracking for hardware and software inventory.

Ensure compliance with security policies and IT best practices .

Qualifications :

Hands-on experience supporting JD Edwards (JDE) in a technical or functional role.

Strong understanding of ERP workflows, integrations, and system configurations .

Basic to intermediate knowledge of IT infrastructure , including networks, hardware, and software.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks .

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working across all levels of an organization.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with SQL queries and report writing tools (e.g., BI Publisher).

Knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus.

Education & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

2-4 years of ERP support experience , with at least 2 years working with JD Edwards .

Work Environment :

This is an onsite role that requires direct collaboration with end-users. Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be necessary for system upgrades or troubleshooting.
