POSITION SUMMARY : A Truck Driver DOT operates a truck to move materials to and from supply and customer locations in a safe and timely manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Operate trucks in compliance with local, state and company policiesPerform truck, trailer and container inspections.Deliver loads to proper locations and plant locations.Inspect inbound loads at supplier locations.Load / Unload a dump trailer.Inspect outbound loads.Load / Unload a roll off container.Drive dump truck on SMI property.Ensure that trucks are kept clean and maintained at all times, perform truck maintenance, as requiredComplete and maintain driving and haul log sheets on a trip basis, as required.Wear appropriate site specific personal protective equipment (PPE), as required.Understand and adhere to all company operating procedures and company safety policies.Any other related duties, as assigned by their supervisor.COMPETENCIES : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following.
