Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring high tenant satisfaction, and maintaining the financial and operational success of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the property, including leasing, tenant relations, rent collection, and maintenance coordination.
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Support leasing efforts by conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Assist in managing financial aspects, including rent payments, late fees, and delinquencies, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution of tenant concerns.
- Enforce lease agreements and community policies, maintaining a safe and positive living environment.
- Help manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely and quality service for property maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare reports related to occupancy, leasing, and financial performance as required.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager on budget planning and cost management.
- Assist in organizing resident events and community engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years of experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations is preferred.
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for property visits.
