Job Title: Porter / Make Ready
Location: Sherman, TX
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Porter / Make Ready to join our team in Sherman, TX. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, curb appeal, and general upkeep of the property, including assisting in the preparation of vacant units for new residents and helping maintain the pool and amenities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, entryways, parking lots, and shared amenities.
- Assist in maintaining the pool and recreational areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and functional.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as touch-up painting, minor repairs, and appliance checks.
- Assist with unit turnovers to ensure apartments are fully prepared for new move-ins.
- Remove trash and debris from the property, maintain the dumpster area, and support landscaping efforts as needed.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to support property upkeep and complete assigned work orders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and maintenance policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property maintenance, janitorial, or porter roles preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaning is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
