Strategic Resilience Group (SRG) seeks Category Management (CM) professionals to support the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Gov-wide Acquisition Services Division. Members of our team will assist with the development and execution of program strategies that support and advance the maturity and adoption of category management (CM) government wide. SRG will employ a collaborative and iterative methodology for developing deliverables and problem-solving to support our customers’ goal of achieving a consistent and comprehensive government-wide CM strategy. CM is the organizing principle the federal government is using to drive smarter, more efficient buying practices, and enables the government to eliminate redundancies, increase efficiency, and deliver more value from the government’s acquisition programs.
Position Overview
We are seeking a HiDef Support Lead to manage Hi-Definition Intelligent Acquisition Data Environment (Hi-Def) Initiative, a technology solution designed to aggregate government-wide procurement data. This role requires expertise in federal procurement systems, data integration, and strategic analytics.
Salary: $142,000 – $168,000

- Lead the technical and business strategy for the HiDef Initiative.
- Responsible for advising GSA and OMB on the development and rollout of the HiDef tool to procurement professionals across the government.
- Oversee data aggregation and visualization efforts to support GSA and OMB decision-making.
- Provide technical guidance on government-wide procurement analytics tools.
- Develop integration strategies for federal procurement data systems (BIC, FPDS-NG, etc.).
- BA/BS degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics.
- Expertise in GSA’s HiDef Initiative and federal acquisition technologies.
- Experience with the development of technologies used to aggregate complex data sets- including BIC and TDR- to inform decision-making.
- Experience integrating Best-in-Class (BIC) data and procurement analytics platforms.
- Strong knowledge of government-wide category management and acquisition strategies.
- Knowledge of the pain points and best practices of current acquisition technologies/ processes and experience using this knowledge to support government-wide procurement initiatives.
- Experience working with GSA (or similar federal experience) stakeholders, including GSA IT and the Cloud Advisory Working Group, to integrate new technologies into the existing GSA (or similar federal experience) infrastructure and processes.
