SRG is seeking an Intel COMSEC Specialist at SRG, you will provide NSWCDD DNA administrative and technical support.
On-site only, no telework.
Redstone Arsenal, Alabama
Position Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Collaborate with key personnel to verify and maintain appropriate storage requirements for classified material.
- Coordinate and fulfill all monthly and annual COMSEC management tasks and deliverables.
- Track program Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) equipment and rekey status across multiple systems.
- Maintain the operation of primary GemOne workstations, working closely with system administrators to apply required updates and enforce security controls.
- Manage and support Tactical FASTLANE (TACLANE) network operations.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support across secure communications systems.
- Oversee TACLANE configuration management to ensure compliance with operational and security protocols.
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA
- Eight years of additional related experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelors
- Full-time professional experience across the following areas:
- COMSEC equipment storage coordination
- COMSEC management scheduling and reporting
- CCI equipment tracking and rekey monitoring
- Update Tactical FASTLANE (TACLANE) network operations
- Technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Configuration management for TACLANE systems
- Must have IAT Level III certification (any of the following):
- CASP CE
- CCNP Security
- CISA
- CISSP (or Associate)
- GCED
- GCIH
- CCSP
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Current U.S. Passport or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
- Strong understanding of DoD communications security policies and procedures
- Familiarity with mission-critical communications systems in a DoD or intelligence environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a secure, fast-paced environment
