Strategic Resilience Group (SRG) seeks Category Management (CM) professionals to support the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Gov-wide Acquisition Services Division. Members of our team will assist with the development and execution of program strategies that support and advance the maturity and adoption of category management (CM) government-wide. SRG will employ a collaborative and iterative methodology for developing deliverables and problem-solving to support our customers’ goal of achieving a consistent and comprehensive government-wide CM strategy. CM is the organizing principle the federal government is using to drive smarter, more efficient buying practices, and enables the government to eliminate redundancies, increase efficiency, and deliver more value from the government’s acquisition programs.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Communications Support Lead to develop and implement communication strategies for GSA’s Information Technology Category (ITC) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in federal acquisition communications, stakeholder engagement, and media training.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop strategic messaging, value propositions, and outreach plans for government-wide category management initiatives.
· Create training materials, executive briefings, and stakeholder engagement plans.
· Conduct media training for GSA executives, preparing them for public engagement.
· Support the development of value propositions for GSA’s category management office.
Minimum Qualifications
· BA/BS Degree in Public Affairs, Communications or equivalent.
· 5 years of experience in federal strategic communications, marketing, or public affairs.
- In-depth knowledge of GSA’s ITC value proposition and acquisition strategies.
- 2 years of experience in executive media training and stakeholder engagement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $122,000.00 - $147,000.00 per year
