Overview: Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) seeks dedicated professionals to provide critical services to military members, Department of the Army civilians, and their Families. As a Military Funeral Honors State Coordinator, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert on Military Funeral Honors functions and requirements, providing general planning, coordination, and budget analysis to the State Military Authority.
The Army National Guard (ARNG) Military Funeral Honors program renders professional and dignified military funeral honors to all eligible veterans when requested by an authorized family member.
Responsibilities:- Serves as a single point of contact for the State in reference to Military Funeral Honors requested support, maintaining a capability to respond to requests within a 24-hour timeframe.
- Ensures missions conducted, supported, and non-supported are tracked and recorded in the Military Funeral Honors database.
- Cordinates with and ensures all Accreditation Process, Policies and Procedures are followed for Veteran Service Organizations (VSO) and provides complete quality control of pay allowances, reimbursement, and stipends as required for VSO and National Guard member participation.
