Operations Manager (Remote)
Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international ISO 9001/20000/27001 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 36 years’ experience in the Federal, Military, and Commercial Marketplaces. SRI is seeking committed and knowledgeable professionals to provide proposal support to our corporate office. This position is currently remote.
Overview: SRI is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee and improve the day-to-day operations of multiple Department of Defense contractor organizations. The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth business processes, optimizing resources, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate must have a strong background with providing oversight for Accounting, HR, and Accounting operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Streamline operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and efficient use of resources.
- Work closely with other departments (Accounting, HR, Payroll, Contracts, etc.) to ensure alignment and achieve organizational objectives.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Address operational challenges promptly, providing effective solutions to improve processes.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Proven track record in team leadership and managing large operational teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software (ERP systems, project management tools, etc.).
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in operations management.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Government contracting experience.
