Instructional System Designer - Federal

Location: On-site at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH

Job Description:
The ISD supports the design, development, and delivery of adult learning content for both in-person and distributed learning (DL) environments. The ISD applies instructional methodologies including ADDIE and uses multimedia tools to support Security Cooperation training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design courses and curriculum in collaboration with SMEs using ADDIE methodology.
• Develop DL content and apply 508 accessibility compliance standards.
• Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate) and LMS integration practices.
• Conduct instructional needs assessments and incorporate scenario-based learning.
• Ensure course quality and effectiveness through feedback and evaluation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of instructional design experience, with at least 2 years supporting DL environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proficiency with ADDIE, SCORM, and adult learning theories.
• Experience developing federal or DoD training programs.
• Knowledge of 508 compliance and multimedia development tools.
