Job Description:
The Production Control Clerk is responsible for managing work orders, dispatching service crews, and maintaining accurate records for facility maintenance operations at the FLETC Charleston Complex. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple service requests efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, log, and distribute work orders to maintenance teams and contractors.
- Ensure timely scheduling and completion of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Communicate with service crews, government personnel, and vendors to track job status.
- Use maintenance work order systems to input data, generate reports, and monitor asset performance.
- Maintain records of service requests, job assignments, and material usage.
- Provide weekly and monthly maintenance reports to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in work order processing, scheduling, or production control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple service requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in dispatching, service coordination, and record-keeping preferred.
