Job Description:
The Quality Control Representative (QCR) will oversee the implementation and adherence to quality control standards across various contractor-provided services at the FLETC Charleston Complex. The QCR ensures compliance with Scheduling, Registration, Food Service, and Custodial requirements while maintaining clear and effective communication with the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards across all contractor services.
- Ensure compliance with scheduling, registration, food service, and custodial operations.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to generate reports, maintain documentation, and analyze compliance data.
- Provide a monthly Quality Control Report to the COR by the 5th business day of each month.
- Act as the primary liaison between the contractor and FLETC officials on quality assurance matters.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and government regulations.
- Report and address deficiencies, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience (within the past 10 years) in a Quality Control Representative role.
- Must have served in a quality control capacity within the last five (5) years.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, registration, food service, and custodial operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in government contract quality control is preferred but not required.
